THE STABLES AT HEATH HOUSE ARE THE BEST SITUATED IN NEWMARKET.

The Heath was cleared in 1660 and within 10 years, Tregonwell Frampton, ‘Keeper of the Running Horses’ to four monarchs, had built the first stables on the site which is at the foot of the two principal gallops, Warren Hill and Long Hill. Subsequently acquired and expanded by the Weatherby family, the stables were then leased by various owners to various trainers until 1948.
